Privacy Policy

Introduction

This Privacy Policy applies to all applications and services that link to this page in the app, on a store listing, or on a related website (together, the “App”). The App primarily provides cloud-based PDF document conversion and related features (for example, conversion to Word, Excel, or PowerPoint) and may be available on macOS, iOS, or other Apple platforms.

Display names, icons, and store listing text may differ across apps. That does not change the applicability of this Policy. By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. Related terms are in our Terms of Use.

Information We Collect

Account Information (Sign in with Apple)

If the App offers features that require sign-in (such as cloud conversion), you may need to use Sign in with Apple. Our service may receive and store:

• Your Apple user identifier
• An internal account ID we assign to your account
• Your display name, if you choose to share it during sign-in
• Your email address, if you choose to share it during sign-in (Apple may only provide this the first time you sign in)

We do not receive your Apple ID password. Sign-in is handled by Apple. If you sign in on different devices or related apps with the same Apple account, you may be linked to the same server-side account.

User Content (Such as PDF Files)

When you start a task that requires cloud processing (such as conversion), the file you select is uploaded to our servers. We may store:

• The original file while processing is in progress
• The output file until you download it or it is removed under our retention rules below
• Task metadata such as file name, file size, page count, output format, and processing status

We use your files only to provide the service you request. We do not use them for advertising, and we do not use them to train machine-learning models.

Subscription and Purchase Information

If you subscribe or make an in-app purchase, payment is processed by Apple through StoreKit / the App Store. We do not receive your payment card details. We may store information needed to provide plan benefits, such as:

• Product identifier and subscription/purchase status
• Apple transaction identifiers (for example, original transaction ID)
• Subscription start and expiration dates
• Remaining usage quota or other entitlement information for your plan

Products, prices, and quotas may differ by app or platform. What is shown in the App you are using controls.

Information Stored on Your Device

The App may store the following data locally on your device (with differences by platform and feature set):

• Access token — in the system Keychain, used to keep you signed in
• Local preferences — such as download location or UI settings (on macOS this may include a security-scoped bookmark)
• Local cache / downloaded files — such as downloaded conversion results stored in the app sandbox for reopening or sharing; you may be able to clear related caches in the App

The access token is sent to our servers with API requests to authenticate your account. Other local preferences and already-downloaded files are not uploaded as sync data (except files you choose to upload for processing).

Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect:

• Location data
• Contacts, calendars, or photos (other than files you choose to process)
• Browsing history outside the App
• Advertising identifiers or cross-app tracking data
• Analytics through third-party analytics SDKs

How We Use Information

We use the information above to:

• Create and manage your account
• Authenticate requests to our API
• Process files you submit and deliver results
• Apply plan limits shown in the App (for example, file size, page count, and usage quota)
• Show history in the App, where applicable
• Validate App Store subscriptions/purchases and restore purchases
• Respond to support requests and address misuse of the service

Storage, Retention, and Deletion

Where Data Is Stored

Uploaded files and processing results are stored in cloud object storage. Account, subscription, and task records are stored in our database. These systems are operated by third-party hosting providers we use to run the service.

How Long We Keep Data

• Uploaded and processed files are typically removed from cloud storage within about 24 hours after a task is created, or sooner if you delete the task or your account.
• After files are removed, task history entries may remain so the App can show past records (including when downloads are no longer available).
• Account and subscription records are kept while your account remains active.

Deleting Your Account

If the App provides account features, you can usually delete your account from Account or Settings using Delete Account. This permanently deletes:

• Your profile and sign-in records on our servers
• Subscription/entitlement records linked to your account on our servers
• History and quota records
• Any related files still stored for your account

Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store subscription. Cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.

Signing out or deleting your account clears the session in the App. Local Keychain data and platform-specific preferences or caches may also be cleared; uninstalling the App removes local app data on that device.

Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these cases:

• Apple — Sign in with Apple and App Store subscription/purchase processing, subject to Apple’s Privacy Policy.
• Service providers — hosting, database, and file storage providers that help us operate the App and process tasks.
• Legal requirements — when required by law or to protect users, our service, or the public.

Tracking

We do not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies, and we do not show targeted advertising in the App.

Security

Communication between the App and our servers uses HTTPS/TLS. Access tokens (if any) are stored in the system Keychain. No online service can guarantee perfect security.

Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

International Users

Your information may be processed on servers outside your country. By using the App, you understand that your information may be transferred and processed in those locations.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
